A content system the owner could actually keep up with

Boutique design studio

The problem

The studio posted in bursts, went quiet for weeks, then restarted from scratch. Content was pretty but disconnected from the services the studio wanted to sell.

The objective

Build a repeatable content rhythm tied to the studio's offer, sustainable at four hours a week.

My role

Content strategy, pillar definition, calendar design, and monthly review.

Strategy

  • Defined four content pillars mapped to Awareness and Consideration.
  • Built a batching workflow so one shoot produced a month of assets.
  • Added a light proof pillar — process, before/after, client questions.
  • Chose a cadence the owner could sustain instead of an aspirational one.

Work completed

  • Content pillar framework and monthly calendar template
  • Caption and hook patterns for each pillar
  • Batching SOP for shooting, editing, and scheduling
  • Simple monthly performance review sheet

Results

  • Consistent posting maintained across consecutive months for the first time
  • Content now points to a specific service page rather than the profile bio
  • Saved planning time by batching instead of deciding daily

What I took from it

A content plan the owner can't sustain isn't a strategy, it's a wish. Design for the real calendar.
