I came into marketing from IT — which is why I build systems, not campaigns.
Web developer, then professor, then IT director, then Executive Marketing Director. Here's the honest version of how that added up.

I studied Information Technology in Davao and started out building things rather than promoting them — websites, networks, security. My first real role was web administrator at Children's Joy Foundation, where I learned that a website is only useful if someone is sending newsletters, answering donors, and actually following up.
For a year I taught web development and web security as a college professor. Explaining technical work to people who had never built a site is the reason I can now explain marketing strategy to a business owner without jargon.
At TaskBullet I supported over 300 clients across four time zones, starting with development work and moving into digital marketing through their training program. That volume taught me where marketing quietly falls apart — not in the idea, but in the handover, the follow-up nobody owned, and the beautiful page that never asked for anything.
Five years as a senior web developer for a Canadian agency added the delivery discipline: monthly maintenance, security checks, CRM migrations, documented handovers. Two years as Director of IT at Jose Maria College added the scale — infrastructure, security, budgets, and a team to lead.
Since 2022 I've been Executive Marketing Director for Los Angeles Powerboat Academy and digital solutions & marketing manager for Yacht Management Services, plus marketing coordinator work with Black Hydrovac. Email marketing, social, AI-assisted content, high-conversion websites, and an all-in-one portal for maintenance scheduling — all owned end to end.
What I do now for service providers and ecommerce brands: build the marketing system that attracts customers, automates the follow-up, and converts more sales.
Currently finishing a Master's in Information Technology at AMA University. Published in Haven. Based in Davao, working with clients in the US and Canada.

What I believe about marketing
- Marketing is a system, not a list of tasks.
- The cheapest win is usually answering people who already raised their hand.
- A plan you can't sustain isn't a strategy.
- Structure is part of the service, not an extra.
- If I can't explain why we're doing something, we shouldn't do it.
